Reiki for Pets
We love our pets. Over the years they have kept us fit with walks in all sort of weather, quiet companionship when needed most, unconditional love always and a warm welcome whenever we come home. So should we not care for their health as one of the family too? Health insurance companies and most commercial vets (no names here!) know this. The price of taking care of an ill pet is through the roof. And that makes us concerned pet parents so guilty. How much serious (and I am talking serious) debt is ok to take on to treat an ill or an aging family pet?
This is where I find Reiki to be massively helpful not only in symptom reduction for diagnosed illnesses but for finding out potential problems that might otherwise go undetected for years, just keeping pets mentally and physically happy and healthy, encouraging bonding or by reducing new pet transition anxiety. By offering our animal companions all of the benefits of Reiki, we give something back to our pets for all the healing, unconditional love and laughter they give us.
Animals too, like every living thing, love receiving the warm vibrations of Reiki energy and benefit greatly from it:
Distance Reiki energy healing is often a great first step towards getting very timid and fearful animals into better care if you cannot get your pet into a carrier. This also can help if you live far away or are concerned about the health of an overseas pet.
10 signs that something is not quite right with your pet:
If you have any questions or concerns, you should always visit or call your veterinarian – they are your primary resource to ensure the health and well-being of your pets. Reiki works best as preventive care, quality of life care or greatly enhances recovery along with traditional medicine. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose or prescribe medications.

"I strongly believe you had a major impact on my dog Molly's prognosis and recovery. (Her 12lb tumor turned out benign and is recovering well from surgery.) Molly and I have been through so much together. She is my rock and my soul-mate. Thank you for all your help!" |
